Here’s what it looks like when you land on soft ground in a 1954 Cessna 180. Not pretty.

I saw this on the airfield a few days ago and more or less forgot about it, until I came across the story posted online. More about what happened can be found on the Alaska Bush Pilot Blog at Alaska Dispatch.

P.S. I was not involved in the crash at all. Just sharing what I saw!

    I practiced this landing today ina cessna 172. Hopefully he didnt put too much damage to his plane.
