They are a bigger community and as such a bigger market. That being said, I think it is correct that Fairbanks and Juneau will be getting 3g service soon. I think we're just about there. Two new towers have been announced in Juneau. One downtown to serve the cruise ship, but also to reach some areas of old Juneau where the signal wasn't quite up to parr. Another one near Salmon Creek (Hospital intersection), I'd guess that will also aid coverage in parts of middle Douglas Island. I'm guessing the 3G hardware is in too, as there is some additional hardware on these towers. A rep said it was up in the air between Fairbanks and us in Juneau...I say that since we are the capital we should have it first?
