Podcast leaps to TV

Alaska HDTV began as an audio only show back in 2005, but has quickly become a video podcast that’s making the leap from the small screen to the TV. In the press release, I talk about the basics of how Alaska HDTV is now being seen on TVs inside all 130 Fred Meyer stores in the USA. More important than the sheer volume of eyes that will be seeing the podcast excerpts on TV, is that we’ve managed to transcend the stigma of a being an internet only production. ACS has nuts

Recently announced, ACS is apparently investing in a large “pipe” to Oregon to expand its connectivity capacity. Using the acronym AKORN to describe the Alaska-Oregon network connection leaves me wondering if ACS really has or is nuts? Read the rest of this entry »

MacHaus - The Alaska “Apple Store”

MacHaus is currently celebrating their “Grand Opening” event for their new store recently opened in Anchorage, Alaska.  MacHaus is a locally owned and operated Apple sales and authorized service center with three locations around the State.  I recently met with the owner, Ben Schaafsma to get the scoop on MacHaus and learn a little more about what they’re all about.
